(KRON) — A SWAT staff busted a few suspected mail thieves at an house in Milpitas on Thursday. The Milpitas Police Division mentioned detectives served a search warrant on the house on East Capitol Avenue and located stolen mail, monetary ledgers, proof of identification theft, and gear used to provide fraudulent checks.
Police suspect that the resident was concerned in an identification theft ring.
After investigators seized proof, they arrested a 28-year-old Milpitas lady, in addition to a 56-year-old San Jose man who had an impressive felony parole violation warrant.

The Milpitas Police Division wrote, “A case that started as a mail theft quickly led to several other crimes and the discovery of an identity theft ring. Thanks to clear video surveillance, prompt reporting from victims, and the hard work of our officers and detectives, the crooks in this case will have to answer to their charges in court.”
