Kentucky Man Crashes Car in San Mateo After Dispute Over Bright Headlights

(KRON) — A Kentucky driver was arrested by the San Mateo Police Division on Sunday after allegedly telling officers he rammed one other automobile and fled as a result of the sufferer had their excessive beam lights on.

Police responded at 3:49 a.m. to Pacific Boulevard and Laurie Meadows Drive on the report of a automobile hit and run. Arriving officers situated the sufferer, and, on the identical time, have been alerted by the Belmont Police Division {that a} quick pursuit with the suspect had ended on forty third Avenue, authorities stated.

San Mateo officers responded and spoke to the suspect driver, recognized by police as 62-year-old Kentucky resident Frank Falcone. Falcone informed officers that he was driving northbound on Pacific Boulevard when he noticed the sufferer’s automobile driving southbound with its excessive beams on, SMPD stated.

Falcone was upset with the sufferer, in response to police, due to the extraordinary brightness and “potential radiation.” He proceeded to ram the automobile, and once more a second time when it got here to a cease, SMPD stated. Falcone then fled from pursuing Belmont law enforcement officials “based on the fact people impersonate cops,” San Mateo PD stated.

The Kentucky man was arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail for assault with a lethal weapon.
