Lady hospitalized after East Bay hit-and-run, 1 arrested

(KRON) – License plate readers assisted in finding a hit-and-run suspect that left a girl in vital situation, based on the Emeryville Police Division. 

A girl was strolling in Bevmo’s again car parking zone when she was struck by a car from behind round 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday. 

In keeping with Emeryville PD, the driving force of the car was driving at an accelerated charge of velocity. The suspected driver, later recognized as 40-year-old Frederick B. Collins, continued touring onto Shellmound Road fleeing the scene.

Police mentioned officers promptly used Flock license plate reader cameras to find Collins’ car and a picture of the suspect. Collins’ automotive was present in Oakland the place he later returned round 7 a.m. on Thursday. 

Benicia residents discover bullet gap in condo ceiling, results in arrest

Collins was arrested and brought to the Santa Rita Jail.

The sufferer, based on police, stays in vital situation.
