(KRON) – The South San Francisco Police Division has arrested a person accused of sexual battery on a SamTrans bus, based on the division.
South San Francisco cops responded to a report of sexual battery close to Oakmont Drive at Bantry Lane at 5:35 p.m. on Dec. 14.
In response to police, the sexual battery started on a SamTrans bus and continued onto the sidewalk after each the sufferer and suspect left the bus. When a bystander confronted the assailant, he fled the scene, police stated.

The South San Francisco Police Division recognized the suspect as 22-year-old Muhammad Junio-Jan. In response to police, Junio-Jan is an unhoused particular person and unemployed.
The division gathered an arrest warrant and Junio-Jan was arrested on Jan. 7. He has since been booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
