Man charged in reference to 'stunning capturing' at Muni bus: SF DA

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco District Lawyer’s Workplace introduced Thursday {that a} man has been charged with a number of felonies in connection to capturing at a Muni bus within the metropolis’s Mission Bay neighborhood on Monday.

SF DA Brooke Jenkins stated Adolph Patrick Greene, 58, pleaded not responsible to all expenses, and denied all allegations throughout his arraignment on Wednesday.

In keeping with court docket paperwork, on Jan. 13 at 6 a.m., Greene stored strolling in the midst of the intersection at Fourth and Berry Streets after the streetlight had modified, blocking the trail of an energetic Muni bus. The San Francisco Police Division (SFPD) stated officers arrested Greene after finding him close to the scene.  SFPD Marine Unit officers stated it recovered the suspected revolver from the water in Mission Creek Channel.   

DA Jenkins stated Greene has been detained pending trial as a result of being thought of a public security danger, and no bail has been set.

The DA’s workplace stated Greene was charged with the next:

one depend of discharging of a firearm at an occupied motorcar (PC 246)

assault with a firearm (PC 245(a)(2))

assault with a lethal weapon in opposition to a public transit worker (PC 245.2)

one depend of possession of a firearm with a previous conviction (PC 29900(a)(1))

one depend of possession of a firearm by felon (PC 29800(a)(1))

one depend of carrying a loaded firearm by a prohibited particular person (PC 25850(a))

one depend of carrying a hid a firearm by a prohibited particular person (PC25400(a)(2))

possession of ammunition (PC 30305(a)(1))

one depend of destroying proof (PC 135)

Greene’s subsequent court docket date is scheduled for Jan. 21.
