(KRON) – An Oakland resident was arrested for allegedly stealing a automobile after test-driving the automobile at a Colma dealership, in line with the Colma Police Division. 

At 2:12 p.m. on Sunday, Colma law enforcement officials have been dispatched to a automobile dealership within the 900 block of Serramonte Boulevard for a automobile theft.

Responding officers have been knowledgeable {that a} man took the automobile for a check drive and returned the automobile with the keys. The suspect, in line with police, instructed the associates he can be again to purchase the automobile. Nonetheless, he stole the automobile keys off an worker’s desk and drove off within the automobile. 

In response to Colma PD, officers discovered the automobile parked close by.
