Man Takes Responsibility for Aggravated Sexual Abuse in Marin Headlands Case

(BCN) — A 28-year-old Rohnert Park man has pleaded responsible to aggravated sexual abuse after admitting to assaulting a girl within the Marin Headlands in August, federal prosecutors stated.

In response to the plea settlement, Esbin Ramirez-Garcia forcibly assaulted the sufferer, with whom he had a previous relationship, after an argument on Aug. 2, 2024, the U.S. Lawyer’s Workplace for the Northern District of California stated Tuesday.

Ramirez-Garcia was giving her a trip house and allegedly drove to a parking zone within the Golden Gate Nationwide Recreation Space, the place the assault occurred, prosecutors stated.

Ramirez-Garcia, who has been in custody since his arrest, faces a most sentence of life in jail and a $250,000 high quality.

Sentencing is scheduled for Might 28.
