Mom’s Deceptive Claims Unravel After Son’s Hit-and-Run Incident

(KRON) – A mom tried to offer police false info after her son crashed into a hearth hydrant and fled the scene, the Fremont Police Division mentioned.

Fremont cops responded to Lowry Highway and Falcon Drive for the report of a hit-and-run on Feb. 14. The car crashed into a hearth hydrant, inflicting water to splash profusely. The automobile was left on the scene, in accordance with Fremont PD. 

Officers situated the registered proprietor of the car who mentioned that she “lost control of the vehicle and hit the fire hydrant,” mentioned Fremont PD.

Nonetheless, Fremont PD mentioned surveillance footage proved the motive force was spinning donuts within the automobile on the intersection which induced the collision with the hearth hydrant. After the crash, footage confirmed two juveniles fleeing from the automobile. 

The girl admitted that her son was driving her automobile when the collision occurred and he or she lied to guard him. 

Based on police, “Both cases were sent for charging.”
