SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two ladies have been employed for one of the crucial uncommon jobs within the Bay Space. They are going to stay and work at East Brother Gentle Station, a historic website perched on a tiny island in the course of the San Francisco Bay.
Danielle La Vigne and Rachel “Rae” Colvin have been employed as inn keepers who will oversee the sunshine station, East Brother Gentle Station officers introduced this week.

The small island is situated off Level Molate within the strait between San Francisco and San Pablo bays. It’s house to a historic lighthouse and fog sign that dates again to 1874. Throughout the previous 150 years, 34 keepers have lived on the island, based on EBLS.
Beginning on April 1, La Vigne and Colvin will take over managing a five-room inn and start dwelling on the island. The duo isn’t any stranger to life at sea. La Vigne and Colvin at present reside on a 70-foot-long crusing ship close to Santa Barbara.
