Oakland-based soul meals staple to open at Fisherman's Wharf in SF

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A longtime staple for soul meals in Oakland is opening its first location in certainly one of San Francisco’s most-visited vacationer sights. Everett & Jones BBQ is opening at Fisherman’s Wharf, in line with the Port of San Francisco.

The restaurant will span about 4,363 sq. ft throughout two flooring. Everett & Jones will probably be positioned at 300 Jefferson St., which is the previous residence of Lou’s Fish Shack that closed in 2020 because of pandemic-related causes, the port stated. It’s a brief stroll throughout the road from In-N-Out.

Everett & Jones signed a 10-year lease that’s estimated to complete about $1.82 million throughout the time period, in line with the Port of San Francisco. That is about $152,000 per 12 months for base lease, plus the chance of an annual lease improve. The restaurant has two five-year choices to resume, pending the SF Board of Supervisor’s approval.

The opening of Everett & Jones fills a void of soul meals at Fisherman’s Wharf. In response to the Port of San Francisco, the opening will help its following targets of “Economic Growth,” “Economic Recovery,” “Equity” and “Engagement and Public Awareness.”

“When the restaurant opens, it will fill a void for a full-service restaurant on Jefferson Street in Fisherman’s Wharf, serving locals and visitors alike,” the Port of San Francisco wrote.

In response to Tripadvisor, Everett & Jones is rated the 18th greatest (out of 1,338) restaurant in Oakland. Everett & Jones was based in Oakland’s Jack London Sq. again in 1973. The restaurant has acquired consideration from nationwide publications reminiscent of Forbes.

There are at the moment two Everett & Jones places within the Bay Space — each in Oakland. There’s one at 126 Broadway and one other at 4245 MacArthur Blvd. There was an Antioch location that closed after two years.
