Oakland police investigating deadly capturing Wednesday

(KRON) — The Oakland Police Division is investigating a deadly capturing that occurred Wednesday morning. The capturing, police mentioned, occurred simply after 7 a.m. within the 1200 block of forty ninth Avenue.

Officers had been dispatched after a ShotSpotter activation. On the scene, officers positioned a sufferer affected by at the least one gunshot wound.

Vallejo homicide suspect Maximillian Snyder could also be linked to string of killings throughout the nation

The sufferer was transported to a hospital the place they later died.

OPD Murder Division investigators responded to the scene to conduct a follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the capturing.

Officers haven’t launched the identify of the sufferer right now.
