(KRON) — A longtime KFC location has shut its doorways for good. The restaurant, situated at 7199 Mission St. in Daly Metropolis, closed in June 2024 after its lease expired, a KFC spokesperson informed KRON4.

The KFC was open for 58 years. The fried rooster chain known as it a “difficult decision” to shut because the restaurant had undergone a number of remodels and had been a fixture on the nook of Mission and Garibaldi streets for the reason that Sixties.

Longtime patrons of the now-closed KFC don’t must go far for his or her fried rooster repair. Filipino chain Jollibee is situated about three blocks away on Mission Avenue. There are two different KFC places in Daly Metropolis — one on Geneva Avenue and one other on Westmoor Avenue.
