PITTSBURG, Calif. (KRON) – An East Bay girl was captured on video kicking a canine. The footage has since gone viral, sparking outrage.

KRON4 spoke with the canine’s proprietor and his neighbor concerned within the incident.

On the night of Feb. 19, Albert Lopes was washing his automotive when he says his neighbors approached him and kicked Gigi, certainly one of his aged canine. He additionally claims that one of many girls was wielding a gun.

“There was a gun involved, but there’s no evidence of me seeing it and her showing it,” Lopes stated. 

Lopes and his neighbors say the dispute began over a potted plant that bought ran over the night time earlier than. Lopes’ neighbor, Susie Ashley, admits to working over the plant accidentally.

However she claims it was Lopes, not her relative, who had a gun.

“I said ‘Sir, I’m sorry.’ She said, ‘Excuse me, sir. Can I talk to you?’ He went off. He had a black gun and said get off my *bleep* property like that, and she backed up off the property,” Ashley stated.

“It’s just ignorance and miscommunication,” Lopes stated. “Other than that, it’s he said, she said.”

Lopes stated 10-year-old Gigi is presently on the vet recovering. Throughout our interview, Lopes answered a name from that veterinary workplace. He stated they advised him Gigi’s damages may price as much as $16,000.

After KRON4’s interviews, a heated change occurred between Lopes and his neighbors, and Lopes ended up calling police. Each events say that they want to press prices.
