Police returned fireplace after being shot at by ‘unknown suspects’: San Jose PD

(KRON) – Police mentioned officers have been shot by suspects and returned gunshots on Monday, in keeping with the San Jose Police Division. 

In response to the division, plainclothes officers have been “working an unrelated event” close to Melbourne Boulevard and Mclaughlin Avenue. Police mentioned the officers have been shot at “by unknown suspects and returned fire” round 10:38 p.m. on Monday.

The suspects fled the scene, mentioned SJPD.

No accidents have been reported, in keeping with police. 

Mclaughlin Avenue is at the moment closed from Freeway 280 to Appian Lane. Melbourne Boulevard is closed from Macredes Avenue to Mclaughlin Avenue, in keeping with police.
