(KRON) — Almost 1 / 4 pound of methamphetamine was seized Thursday from a suspected drug vendor after a involved Petaluma resident reported a person promoting narcotics, based on the Petaluma Police Division.

Police responded simply after midday to the realm of Hopper Avenue and Caulfield Lane for a report of an individual promoting narcotics. A person who matched the outline offered by the resident was situated and contacted by officers.

It was discovered that the suspect, recognized as Jesus Orosco, 47, of San Rafael, was on lively parole. A parole search uncovered slightly below 1 / 4 pound of methamphetamine packaged on the market, Petaluma PD stated.
