The East Bay Regional Park District is kicking off the brand new yr by launching its 2025 Trails Problem, an annual program inviting the general public to discover trails handpicked by district workers to indicate off the area’s beautiful pure magnificence.

“The East Bay Regional Parks Trails Challenge is a great way to explore regional parks and get to know new parks. The Trails Problem has been an annual characteristic since 1993. The 2025 problem consists of 20 trails of various issue ranges situated all through the East Bay. The record (which had not but been launched on the time of this writing) consists of quite a few absolutely accessible trails which were evaluated and recognized as usable by individuals with mobility limitations.

To complete the problem, individuals have to stroll, trip, or roll 5 trails, or 26.2 whole miles, by Dec. 31, 2025. Strolling, biking, and horseback driving are all methods guests can take part.

“We want as many people as possible to take the challenge and benefit from time in nature,” Moran stated. “In 2025, there are even more rewards for finishers of the challenge, including monthly drawings of finishers, special categories based on age, a trailmaster patch for those who complete all 20 trails, and a 2025 challenge champion award for the person who completes all 20 trails first.”

All finishers should submit their path log on-line to qualify for a particular award, prize, or giveaway.

Folks within the 2025 Trails Problem can choose up a free guidebook and T-shirt at any East Bay Regional Park customer heart. The guidebook may also be downloaded.
