SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A powerful mansion in San Francisco that was as soon as owned by late actor Robin Williams offered on Thursday for $18 million, in accordance with a Redfin itemizing.

The Italian Renaissance Villa was in-built 1926 within the metropolis’s ritzy Sea Cliff neighborhood. 540 El Camino Del Mar is sort of 11,000 sq. ft with three tales, six bedrooms, and 6 bogs.

The mansion was designed by architect Earle Bertz to mix “aesthetic beauty with grandeur and prestige,” the Redfin itemizing writes.

Home windows open to huge views “from the mouth of the Pacific Ocean to the Marin Headlands, the San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, to the cliffs and beaches of Park Presidio,” the itemizing states. A gated perimeter encloses the properties’ gardens.

Williams and his ex-wife, “Mrs. Doubtfire” film producer Marsha Garces Williams, raised their youngsters contained in the expansive dwelling, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. The couple purchased the mansion for $3.2 million in 1991, and Marsha Garces Williams stored it following their divorce in 2010, in accordance with the Chronicle.

“This is one of San Francisco’s most remarkable estate properties designed by celebrated architect, Earle B. Bertz, one that truly balances period elegance and luxurious scale with modern sensibilities, joy, and playfulness. And after more than three decades of loving stewardship, it is now ready for its next chapter of devotion, happiness, celebrations and dreams,” the itemizing states.

Ryan Seacrest’s North Bay mansion listed at $22 million

540 El Camino Del Mar was initially listed at $25 million in 2023 by actual property firm Compass.

Williams died on the age of 63 at his dwelling in Tiburon in 2014.
