(KRON) — A 35-year-old San Francisco man was arrested after strolling out of a Goal retailer with greater than a thousand {dollars} of stolen items in his purchasing cart, stated Colma police.

Colma police stated officers have been patrolling the Serra Heart Buying Heart on March 2 after they have been flagged down at 4:02 p.m. by Goal loss prevention officers for a theft in progress. Police have been notified that the suspect was nearing the shop’s exit with a full purchasing cart of merchandise.
After he left, the person was quickly escorted again inside the shop by Goal safety the place he was taken into custody by Colma police. The quantity of the merchandise (pictured beneath) was valued at roughly $1,149.67.

Police stated the suspect, recognized as Gaurav Mohta, was arrested for grand theft and housebreaking, and booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
