San Jose police investigating Christmas Day hate vandalism

(KRON) — The San Jose Police Division stated its officers responded on Christmas Day at 1:45 p.m. to the 4000 block of Evergreen Village Sq. for a report of vandalism at a number of companies.

Human stays wash ashore close to Bodega Bay

SJPD stated the reporting celebration advised police that the companies, together with a Mathnasium location, had been vandalized with spray paint, that includes hate-related phrases and symbols, together with a swastika.

The graffiti occurred at a preferred purchasing plaza — Evergreen Village Sq. in east aspect San Jose. The swastika was painted on the primary day of Hanukkah.

“This incident occurred in an prosperous neighborhood on the east aspect of San Jose, the place political beliefs typically differ from the bulk…. These accountable should be held accountable,” the San Jose NAACP stated.

San Jose PD confirmed to KRON4 that the suspects haven’t been recognized. Investigators stated the case has been assigned to the division’s Hate Crime Unit.

Anybody with data is requested to name the San Jose Police Division.
