(KRON) — Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) stated it was notified at its Thursday board assembly that members of Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Native 265 will go on strike starting on or after March 10 at 12:01 a.m.

VTA stated due to this, its bus and lightweight rail service could not function Monday morning. Some routes which are scheduled to run previous midnight may additionally see service interruptions.
