(KRON) — A probation search of a driver and his car in Windsor on Wednesday uncovered dozens of illegally harvested pink abalone together with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, police mentioned. “Due to the condition of the abalone and location, unfortunately they could not be returned to their natural habitat and were disposed of,” Windsor police mentioned on social media. “The pond turtle was turned over to animal control and returned to the wild.”
