(BCN) — Santa Rosa police raided on Tuesday morning what they described as a “longtime Santa Rosa nuisance residence,” leading to two arrests and seizure of alleged medicine and firearms.
Based on police, neighbors over the previous 12 months made quite a few calls reporting medicine and violence at a house within the 2000 block of Guerneville Street.

At 10:12 a.m. Tuesday, officers and detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Division’s narcotics and gang crimes groups raided the property with a search warrant. Fourteen individuals had been reportedly discovered inside the house whereas one other individual was sleeping in his automobile outdoors. All had been detained in the course of the raid, police mentioned.
Through the search, detectives allegedly discovered a loaded .40-caliber semi-automatic pistol, a 12-gauge shotgun, fentanyl and methamphetamine.

“Every room in the residence was cluttered with drug paraphernalia,” police mentioned.
Officers arrested two people: 65-year-old Curtis Huffman and 42-year-old Jennifer Ortiz, each of Santa Rosa.
Huffman was arrested on suspicion of sustaining a dwelling for the use and gross sales of narcotics/managed substances, possession of a managed substance with two or extra prior convictions, and being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Ortiz had an impressive warrant for her arrest and was arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlawful narcotic, managed substance and drug paraphernalia.
The residence is being investigated for code violations by Santa Rosa code enforcement officers.
