On Monday, Starbucks revealed 13 drinks that can now not be on the menu beginning Tuesday, March 4.

“We’re simplifying our menu to focus on fewer, more popular items, executed with excellence,” Starbucks mentioned in a launch. “This will make way for innovation, help reduce wait times, improve quality and consistency, and align with our core identity as a coffee company.”

The slimmed-down menu is a part of a broader shift in operations by the world’s most iconic espresso model. In a letter to staff on Monday, Niccol introduced plans to put off 1,100 company staff globally.

“Our intent is to operate more efficiently, increase accountability, reduce complexity and drive better integration,” Niccol wrote within the letter.
