Suspected U-Haul thief drives truck into canal evading authorities: CHP 

(KRON) – A suspected U-Haul thief was arrested after making an attempt to evade police within the truck, in accordance with the California Freeway Patrol. 

At 2:50 p.m. on Dec. 3, CHP patrol officers seen a U-Haul field truck touring eastbound on E. twelfth Road at Derby Avenue. In response to CHP, a Flock security digicam recognized the U-Haul’s license plate as a stolen automobile.
