(KRON) — A person has been arrested in reference to a capturing that occurred on the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds in September, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Workplace stated. Deputies discovered a big stash of weapons at his Pittsburg residence.

The capturing occurred on Sept. 16 on the fairgrounds, that are in Antioch. Two individuals shot the sufferer after an argument, the sheriff’s workplace stated. The suspect was positioned in essential situation after the capturing.

One suspect used an illegally manufactured gun within the capturing. Detectives later decided he was illegally making and promoting weapons, together with assault weapons, per CCCSO.

Deputies searched the suspect’s residence on Thursday and located quite a few assault weapons and a short-barreled rifle. A number of the weapons didn’t have serial numbers.

The suspect was recognized as Diego Vasquez-Gomez, 27, of Pittsburg. He was arrested on suspicion of varied gun-related crimes and baby endangerment.

The weapons shall be examined to see if they’re linked to another crimes.
