Suspects steal greater than $1,000 value of meats from Cupertino Safeway: sheriff

(KRON) — Two suspects have been arrested after stealing greater than $1,000 value of meat from a Safeway in Cupertino, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Workplace (SCCSO) mentioned Sunday in a social media put up.

The theft occurred final week on the Safeway on 20620 W Homestead Highway. A Safeway worker witnessed the theft and remembered the license plate of the suspects’ black Toyota Prius getaway automotive, authorities mentioned.

The suspects have been later arrested on the residence registered below the Prius, based on SCCSO.

Along with the meat, avocados, cooking oil, and mayonnaise have been additionally recovered by police. SCCSO posted a photograph of the stolen items (under).

Each suspects have been booked into Santa Clara County Most important Jail.
