(KRON) — The Vallejo Police Division mentioned the “unmistakable roar of an engine and the screech of tires” led to a teenage driver being cited for reckless driving.

Vallejo PD mentioned the incident occurred Wednesday close to Lewis Brown and BW Williams drives. When the officer arrived on the scene to discover a cloud of smoke and the odor of burn rubber, he noticed the motive force of an Infiniti G37 “still recklessly driving.”

When the 19-year-old male driver was stopped by police, he allegedly instructed police that “he was doing donuts simply because he was young.”
Vallejo police mentioned the car was impounded by a tow truck and the motive force should pay greater than $2,600 in fines to get it again.
