Teen Pursues Hit-and-Run Driver, Collides with Pedestrians

(KRON) – A sufferer of a hit-and-run grew to become a suspect of one other crime after chasing a car and placing a number of pedestrians, in accordance with the Redwood Metropolis Police Division.

Round 10:06 p.m. on Saturday, the sufferer of a hit-and-run referred to as Redwood Metropolis police to tell officers that he was actively pursuing the driving force who hit his automobile. RCPD dispatch obtained the suspect car’s license plate and suggested the caller to drag over and watch for officers to reply.

The 19-year-old Redwood Metropolis resident recognized as Brian Barbatajimaroa didn’t adjust to RCPD dispatch and continued to observe the suspect. RCPD mentioned Barbatajimaroa reached extreme speeds and disregarded site visitors indicators and guidelines of the street.

3 males arrested after high-end magnificence merchandise theft bust

In accordance with police, the suspect car pulled over within the 900 block of King Avenue and stopped close to a gaggle of pedestrians. Redwood Metropolis PD mentioned Barbatajimaroa drove towards the group, placing a number of people.

Two of the pedestrians have been taken to a neighborhood hospital for his or her accidents.

Barbatajimaroa was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Maguire Correctional Facility for 4 counts of assault with a lethal weapon.
