Tragic Fire Claims Life of 6-Year-Old and Injures Five in San Leandro Home

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KRON) — 5 folks have been injured and a 6-year-old little one was killed in a home fireplace Thursday morning in San Leandro, based on the Alameda County Fireplace Division.

Firefighters responded at 5:26 a.m. to the 2000 block of Altamont Street for a fireplace at a residence.

Crews discovered six complete victims. Three kids and two adults have been transported to an space hospital. A fourth little one, who officers stated was 6-years-old, was pronounced deceased on the scene.
