Tragic Head-On Collision in Contra Costa County Leaves One Dead and Three Injured

(BCN) — An individual died and three different individuals had been injured in a head-on crash in Contra Costa County on Thursday night, based on the California Freeway Patrol.

The CHP mentioned that at 6:11 p.m., patrol officers had been alerted to a two-vehicle crash on Vasco Street, south of Camino Diablo within the township of Byron.

Based mostly on preliminary investigation, a Honda CR-V was being pushed by a person touring northbound on Vasco Street when it crossed over double-yellow divider strains and crashed head-on right into a Toyota Prius occupied by three individuals.

A passenger of the Prius died on the scene. The motive force of the Honda and the remainder of the Toyota’s occupants reportedly suffered extreme accidents and had been despatched to the hospital.
