Two Berkeley Excessive college students arrested for bringing weapons to highschool: BPD

(KRON) — Two Berkeley Excessive Faculty college students had been arrested on Wednesday after they had been present in possession of handguns on campus, the Berkeley Police Division mentioned. No person was injured or threatened.

Police discovered at 12:35 p.m. {that a} pupil probably had a handgun. BPD responded, investigated, discovered two handguns and arrested two male college students, aged 17 and 18.

Each college students had been arrested with out incident, based on a press launch from the Berkeley Unified Faculty District.

“The district finds this serious safety incident to be deeply concerning and will cooperate with BPD in their investigation,” BUSD mentioned.
