(KRON) — Two Santa Rosa restaurant managers have been arrested Wednesday for allegedly embezzling greater than $49,000 by voiding money transactions over many months, in response to authorities.
The investigation started in February 2025 after the house owners of a restaurant within the 3000 block of Marlow Highway reported potential embezzlement to the Santa Rosa Police Division.
“The owners found discrepancies in voided transactions at the restaurant that occurred during the shifts of one particular manager,” police stated. “Business policies required such transactions to be formally documented for accounting purposes; however, in this case, they were not.”
