SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A San Francisco man who’s accused of transporting narcotics into Marin County and agreeing to promote half a pound of methamphetamine to an undercover detective was taken into custody final week, the Marin County Sheriff’s Workplace introduced Wednesday.
Authorities mentioned they turned conscious of Nathan Picco’s alleged involvement in operating methamphetamine and fentanyl into Marin County earlier in January.

On Friday, a Specialised Investigative Unit detective who was working undercover contacted Picco by telephone. Picco allegedly supplied to promote the undercover detective half a pound of methamphetamine and an oz of fentanyl.
Picco advised the detective that the methamphetamine can be delivered first, based on the sheriff’s workplace, and the fentanyl would come on a second journey later that very same day.

The undercover purchase operation occurred in Marin Metropolis, the place Picco was detained. A search of the person uncovered over half a pound of suspected meth, a private quantity of suspected heroin and a collapsable baton, authorities mentioned.
Picco was arrested and booked into the Marin County Jail for possession with intent on the market of managed substance, possession of a prohibited weapon and providing to promote managed substances and narcotics to an undercover detective.
Bail was set at $30,000. Jail data present Picco was not in custody as of Wednesday morning.
