(KRON) — Emergency crews responded to a minivan fireplace contained in the Caldecott Tunnel within the East Bay on Monday morning. Eastbound Freeway 24 was shut down inside Bore 1 at 9:54 a.m. earlier than totally reopening three hours later.

In keeping with CHP’s incident report, the minivan reportedly collided with a automobile that was in entrance of it earlier than it burst into flames. A Tesla driver then picked up the driving force from the minivan because the blaze engulfed the automobile. No accidents had been reported, based on the Oakland Hearth Division.
