West Contra Costa Unified embraces STEM training with new science constructing opening – Native Information Issues

West Contra Costa Unified College District has unveiled its latest science constructing for center and excessive schoolers.

The constructing is for Hercules center and highschool college students and was constructed to reaffirm West Contra Costa’s dedication to STEM (science, know-how, engineering, math) training, district officers stated in an announcement.

“As a woman in STEM, I’m particularly proud to stand here and see the resources that can empower all young minds to envision a future where they can be real contributions to the world,” stated Aleena Khan, a senior at Hercules Excessive, in an announcement.

The constructing has eight labs and provides college students extra space for experiments, interim Superintendent Kim Moses stated.

“At West Contra Costa Unified, we believe that every student deserves a safe, modern, and inspiring place to learn,” Moses stated in an announcement. “The opening of this new science building is more than just the addition of classrooms — it’s an investment in the future.”
