Wind advisory prolonged till Tuesday: NWS

(KRON) – The Nationwide Climate Service has prolonged the wind advisory for the East Bay Hills and the North Bay inside mountains till 1 a.m. on Tuesday. 

North winds are projected to be 20 to 30 mph with gusts up from 35 to 50 mph, in accordance with the climate service. Stronger wind gusts are forecasted for the North Bay with gusts from 50 to 60 mph within the highest peaks of the North Bay, the NWS stated.

The climate service warns residents that wind gusts can blow unsecured objects in lots of instructions, together with tree limbs and vehicles. 

The NWS additionally informs residents of the hazardous driving situations the wind may convey, particularly for high-profile autos.
