2 arrested for tried homicide in San Jose assault involving metallic baseball bat

(KRON) — Two suspects had been arrested and charged with tried homicide this week for an ambush assault through which a metallic baseball bat was used, the San Jose Police Division stated. On Tuesday, the 2 grownup victims had been strolling dwelling after they had been ambushed by two suspects.

One of many suspects, police stated, proceeded to bludgeon the victims with a metallic baseball bat, threatening to kill one of many victims. The suspects fled the scene earlier than police arrived.

The victims had been hospitalized with main accidents.

SJPD patrol officers started a right away investigation and recognized one of many suspects and their related automobile, police stated. On Wednesday, officers obtained an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) hit on the suspect automobile and carried out a high-risk site visitors cease.

Each suspect concerned had been arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for tried homicide.
