(KRON) — About 200 bronze vases had been stolen from a cemetery within the East Bay, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned Wednesday.

The vases had been stolen from Oakland Memorial Park at 2099 Valley Street, which is in unincorporated Lafayette. Authorities are investigating the case as grand theft.

The vases had been hooked up to gravesites earlier than they had been stolen. The cemetery reported the thefts in December.
