FBI serves warrant at house of San Leandro councilmember

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KRON) — The FBI served a warrant on the house of San Leandro Metropolis Councilmember Bryan Azevedo on Wednesday, the town confirmed to KRON4.

The explanation for the warrant is at present unknown. The FBI confirmed that it “conducted court authorized law enforcement activity” at Azevedo’s house on the 900 block of Dillo Avenue however didn’t say why it was there.

The San Leandro Police Division will not be concerned with the FBI investigation.

Azevedo works as a foreman for the Sheet Steel Employees, in line with his bio on the Metropolis of San Leandro’s web site. His household has been in San Leandro for 4 generations.

KRON4 reached out to Azevedo for remark and have but to obtain a response.
