SF's b. Patisserie to open Union Sq. kiosk

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Famend San Francisco bakery will likely be opening a Union Sq. kiosk, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie’s workplace introduced Monday. The kiosk will see the bakery supply “a selection of its signature pastries, including the famous kouign-amann, for residents, workers, and visitors,” Lurie’s workplace mentioned.

The bakery has dedicated to working the kiosk for no less than one 12 months, following a last-minute pop-up activation through the NBA All-Star Weekend final month. The town tapped b. “b. Patisserie’s arrival in Union Square is a clear example of the momentum we’re building in downtown San Francisco,” Mayor Lurie mentioned Monday. “As a fan of their food, I’m excited to see them join a growing and vibrant mix of businesses in this historic area.”

b. Patisserie first opened in San Francisco in 2013 and is owned by award-winning chef Belinda Leong and her enterprise accomplice Michel Suas. Recognized for its European-inspired pastries, the bakery acquired a James Beard Award for Excellent Baker.

The bakery was signed a one-year least on the cafe kiosk at 350 Powell Road beforehand occupied by Tyler Florence’s Miller & Lux Provisions Patisserie.
