Exciting New Kiosk Coming to Union Square: b. Patisserie Set to Delight!

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Famend San Francisco bakery will likely be opening a Union Sq. kiosk, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie’s workplace introduced Monday. The kiosk will see the bakery supply “a selection of its signature pastries, including the famous kouign-amann, for residents, workers, and visitors,” Lurie’s workplace mentioned.

The bakery has dedicated to working the kiosk for no less than one 12 months, following a last-minute pop-up activation through the NBA All-Star Weekend final month. The town tapped b. The b. Patisserie enlargement, in keeping with the mayor’s workplace, is one other step in Mayor Lurie’s efforts to revitalize San Francisco’s beleaguered downtown and Union Sq. neighborhoods. There was an exodus of tentpole retailers like Nordstrom and Macy’s from the realm lately.

“b. Patisserie’s arrival in Union Square is a clear example of the momentum we’re building in downtown San Francisco,” Mayor Lurie mentioned Monday. “As a fan of their food, I’m excited to see them join a growing and vibrant mix of businesses in this historic area.”

b. Patisserie first opened in San Francisco in 2013 and is owned by award-winning chef Belinda Leong and her enterprise accomplice Michel Suas. Recognized for its European-inspired pastries, the bakery acquired a James Beard Award for Excellent Baker.

The bakery was signed a one-year least on the cafe kiosk at 350 Powell Road beforehand occupied by Tyler Florence’s Miller & Lux Provisions Patisserie.
