(KRON) — The Berkeley Police Division (BDP) stated two allegedly abused canines are doing nicely after being rescued final weekend.

Berkeley PD stated its Workforce 5 unit was alerted in regards to the incident after receiving a “troubling” name from a resident.
Berkeley police stated officers responded rapidly to the deal with and arrested a suspect. Authorities haven’t launched the suspect’s identify or what prices they face.
BDP confirmed that animal management officers assisted in eradicating each canines from the property and taking them to a secure location. It was not clear what kind of situations the animals have been residing in.
