Christmas Eve crash kills 1, injured 2 in Monterey

(BCN) — One individual was killed and two had been injured on Christmas Eve in a three-vehicle crash within the metropolis of Monterey.

At roughly 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, Monterey police responded to a visitors collision involving three autos on state Freeway 68, between Canyon Del Rey Boulevard and Ragsdale Drive.

Witnesses informed police a white Dodge Nitro SUV was touring westbound on Freeway 68, simply west of Ragsdale Drive. As visitors was slowing forward, the motive force of the Dodge was allegedly unable to cease his car and struck a white Lexus SUV.

The Dodge continued into the eastbound lanes of Freeway 68 and struck a blue Honda Accord head-on.

A passenger within the Honda, a 22-year-old girl from Berkeley, sustained main accidents and was transported to Natividad Medical Middle, the place she died.

The driving force and one other passenger within the blue Honda sustained average to main accidents and had been transported to Natividad Medical Middle.

The driving force of the Dodge was transported to Natividad Medical Middle for his accidents.
