Deadly crash shuts down EB Hwy 24 in Orinda

Deadly crash shuts down EB Hwy 24 in Orinda

(KRON) — All lanes are shut down on eastbound Freeway 24 in Orinda after a deadly crash Friday morning, in accordance with the California Freeway Patrol.

Authorities responded round 8:27 a.m. to eastbound 24 at Wilder Street for a collision involving 5 autos, in accordance with an incident report. All lanes have been blocked as of 8:56 a.m.

No additional particulars on the fatality have been instantly obtainable.

Site visitors is being diverted to the Wilder Street offramp, CHP mentioned.

Drivers are suggested to anticipate delays and use different routes. There isn’t a estimated time to reopen the roadway.
