Dense tule fog impacts Wednesday morning commute in Bay Space

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A dense fog advisory is impacting parts of the Bay Space throughout the Wednesday morning commute. The advisory, issued by the Nationwide Climate Service, impacts San Francisco, the San Francisco Bay shoreline, the North Bay and the East Bay and Santa Clara valleys.

Tule fog is inflicting visibility of 1 / 4 mile or much less, climate officers mentioned. The poor visibility might trigger hazardous driving situations throughout the morning commute.

Officers advise drivers to activate low-beam headlights when approaching fog, drive slowly and hold distance from different automobiles, use further warning on bridges and in valleys and be prepared for sudden adjustments in visibility.

The dense fog advisory expires at 11 a.m.
