(KRON) — A cat discovered injured on Freeway 101 in Sonoma County was rescued by deputies and Samaritan on Thursday, authorities stated.

A Sonoma County Sheriff’s Workplace deputy trainee and a subject coaching officer had been patrolling on Freeway 101 simply south of the Bicentennial Lane exit once they noticed a girl working on the roadway. Fearing that the lady could be injured by oncoming site visitors, they stopped to assist, the sheriff’s workplace stated.

The deputies discovered that the lady was making an attempt to save lots of an injured cat that was on the facet of the freeway.
