(KRON) — The Marin County Sheriff’s Workplace is introducing a furry new addition to its Specialised Investigative Unit. Ok-9 Kiki, a springer spaniel, is specifically educated within the detection of a number of varieties of medicine, authorities stated.
Kiki and her handler Detective Schneider handed their certification check on Tuesday and are actually able to be deployed, in keeping with the sheriff’s workplace. Kiki is ready to detect the odor of fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine.
