'Every little thing I couldn’t say': Recalled DA Pamela Worth launches podcast

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA (KRON) — A narrative that we’ve been following for the previous few years, now former district lawyer Pamela Worth. She was recalled again in November, however her time in workplace is taken into account historic, tumultuous and for some residents. For the primary time since leaving workplace, Worth is sitting down and talking with us to share what’s subsequent for her.

It has been two months since former district lawyer of Alameda County Pamela Worth had her final day in workplace after she was recalled by residents. “So I am taking some time and I am starting a podcast,” Worth stated.

Worth says the podcast is her concept of staying related with the folks of Alameda County and nonetheless desirous to serve them. Nonetheless, KRON4 requested her if there was something she would change throughout her time as DA.

“I think so, especially when it came to our communications team, but some people just didn’t want me to succeed from the beginning,” Worth stated.

She shares her ideas on the brand new district lawyer Ursula Jones and her present plans for the county.

“I think she will have a lot to learn and will have to just see for herself,” Worth stated of her successor.

Worth, who was elected as DA in 2022, garnered sufficient recall signatures to be on the poll in November’s election. And through the election… at one level she refused to concede.. nonetheless combating for her place.. and we requested her what she was pondering throughout this time

Reflecting on her time as DA, Worth says she is not achieved with Alameda County. KRON4 requested her if she would ever run for workplace once more.

“I don’t think it’s off the table,” Worth responded.

Worth’s podcast is formally reside and tells me that she is happy for this new position and might be sharing all of the issues she couldn’t say whereas she was the DA.

“I am going to have so many people on — local leaders — and tell it all. Everything I couldn’t say,” Worth stated of her podcast.
