(KRON) – Explosives and numerous weapons have been present in a convicted felon’s automobile, based on the Vallejo Police Division. 

On Feb. 2, Vallejo cops pulled over a 2022 Dodge Charger with no license plates close to Freeway 80 and Tennessee Road.

The motive force of the Dodge gave the officers a sound California driver’s license. Nonetheless, it revealed he had a no-bail felony warrant for a probation violation associated to a weapons offense from Contra Costa County. Police additionally found the suspect is a convicted felon whose probation phrases prohibit him from possessing firearms, ammunition, weapons, explosives or physique armor.

Santa Rosa man discovered lifeless Sunday morning after minivan crash

Police detained the suspect. 

A search of the suspect’s automobile uncovered two physique armor vests, a duplicate firearm, a carried out power machine, a baton and a field of ammunition. Police stated the suspect admitted to possessing the prohibited objects, claiming he labored as a safety guard and supplied his work credentials.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail. The suspect’s automobile was towed.
