Feminine pepper sprays assault suspect at UC Village: police

(BCN) — A feminine using her bicycle was assaulted Tuesday night after being threatened with molestation within the College Village in Albany, in response to police.

College of California, Berkeley police mentioned that between 7:30 p.m. and eight p.m., a feminine was using her bicycle on a pathway alongside the south fence line of the College Village. Somebody reportedly got here out of some bushes close to the pathway and instructed her he was going to observe her and sexually assault her.

The sufferer verbally responded and continued to trip previous the suspect. However as she did, the suspect grabbed her from behind, pulled her off her bike, and started to take her towards the bushes.

Police mentioned the sufferer was ready to make use of pepper spray on the suspect and escape earlier than reaching the bushes. She didn’t endure any accidents.

The suspect was final seen fleeing within the space of Eighth Road, in response to police.
